Riding on the show's viewership, Kapoor built a restaurant group with brands including The Yellow Chilli and Signature, with a presence in multiple countries across India and abroad.[5] He launched the 24 hour food channel FoodFood in January 2011 as a joint venture with Malaysia based Astro Overseas Limited, and sold a majority stake in the channel to Discovery Communications in 2016 while remaining its brand ambassador.[6]
