Shivaji Satam (born 21 April 1950) is an Indian actor known for his work in television and films, most notably as ACP Pradyuman in the popular TV series C.I.D. [1]
Early life and education
Shivaji Satam was born in Devgad, Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, India. He studied at Antonio D'Souza High School in Mumbai and later attended Barnes High School in Devlali. He completed his education at Maharshi Dayanand College in Mumbai.
Career
Shivaji Satam is best known for portraying ACP Pradyuman in the long-running detective series C.I.D. on Sony Entertainment Television. Before acting, he worked as a bank official and inspection officer. His acting career began in 1980 with the TV serial Rishte-Naate. He has appeared in numerous Hindi and Marathi films, including Vaastav, Ghulam-E-Mustafa, Kurukshetra, and Uttarayan. He also starred in the Marathi TV show Ek Shunya Shunya.
Personal life
Shivaji Satam was married to Aruna Satam until her passing in 2000. They have two children, and his daughter-in-law is actress Madhura Velankar.
