FGTeeV, short for The Family Gaming Team, is an American family gaming YouTube channel run by the Vincent family.[1] The channel stars Duddy (Vincent Carter), his wife Moomy (Samantha Carter) and their four children Lexi, Mike, Chase and Shawn.[2]
Early life and education
The family is based in the United States and began posting family videos online before launching the gaming-focused FGTeeV channel in 2013.[1] They also run the related channels FUNnel Vision (FV Family) and Doh Much Fun.[3]
Career
FGTeeV became one of the most popular family-friendly gaming channels on YouTube with gameplay videos, comedy skits and original music.[1][4] The family has more than 44 million subscribers and 50 billion views across all their channels combined, according to their publisher HarperCollins.[3] They won Roblox Video of the Year at the 8th Annual Bloxy Awards and have published children's books with HarperCollins, including the FGTeeV graphic novel series.[5][6] The channel was briefly terminated in March 2024 before being restored.[1]
In 2024, the family gave an interview around the Kids' Choice Awards.[7] The business behind the FGTeeV gaming empire has also been profiled in financial media.[8]
