Medhavi Bidhuri
Medhavi Bidhuri (born 29 October 2005) is an Indian women's cricketer who plays as a right-arm leg spinner and right-handed batter. She represents Delhi in domestic cricket and has played for South Delhi Superstarz and Central Delhi Queens in the Women's Delhi Premier League (WDPL).[1]

Early life[2]
Bidhuri was born on 29 October 2005 in Delhi. She hails from the Tughlakabad area of South Delhi and belongs to a Hindu family. Her father is Vikas Bidhuri Zaildar, associated with the Gurjar community. She progressed through Delhi’s age-group system, representing the state at Under-19, Under-23 and senior levels.[3]
Domestic career
Medhavi bidhuri has played for Delhi Women in domestic competitions. In the Women's Delhi Premier League she represented South Delhi Superstarz in the 2024 and 2025 seasons. In the 2025 final against Central Delhi Queens she took 3 wickets for 26 runs from three overs while defending a total of 121; South Delhi Superstarz won by one run.
In the 2026 WDPL she joined Central Delhi Queens. In the tournament opener on 20 August 2026 against South Delhi Superstarz she recorded figures of 2/24 from four overs. One of the wickets (Nishika Singh, caught by Arushi Goel) was followed by her viral “6-7” celebration while wearing jersey number 67.
She was among the players who registered for the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 auction pool.[4]
Viral celebration
During the 2026 WDPL opener medhavi bidhuri performed a “6-7” hand gesture after taking a wicket. The celebration, linked to a popular Gen Z meme trend, quickly went viral on social media. She later explained that she had wanted jersey number 12, but it was already taken; her younger sister suggested number 67 and the accompanying gesture.[5]
Playing style
Medhavi bidhuri is a right-arm leg-spinner who also bowls the googly. She bats right-handed and is regarded as a spin-bowling all-rounder. She has named Virat Kohli and Mithali Raj as her cricketing idols and has expressed a preference for Royal Challengers Bengaluru among WPL franchises.[6]
