📘 Help Guide – Wikigama

Welcome to the Help section of Wikigama! This guide will help you understand how to edit, navigate, and contribute effectively.

🔰 Getting Started

Wikigama is an open platform. Anyone can contribute.

Create an account at Special:CreateAccount.
Stay neutral, cite reliable sources, and follow community guidelines.

✍ How to Edit a Page

Click the "Edit" tab on any page.
Use the Wikitext editor or VisualEditor (if enabled).
Provide a clear edit summary before saving.

🛠 Basic Formatting

italic → italic
bold → bold
== Section == → Headings
Page Name → Internal link
External Link → External link

📜 Creating a New Page

Use the search bar to check if the page already exists.
If not, click on "Create the page" link.
Follow the Manual of Style.

📙 Adding References

Use reliable sources and wrap them in `Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content` tags.

Example:

At the bottom of the article, add:

🖼 Uploading Images

Visit Special:Upload to upload files.
Only upload media with proper copyright permission.

Templates help standardize articles. Some common ones:
