Albinder Dhindsa is an Indian entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of Blinkit, a quick-commerce company, and became Group CEO of Eternal Ltd in 2026.[1][2]

Early life and education

Dhindsa was born in Patiala, Punjab, India.[3] He earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.[1]

Career

Dhindsa worked as a transportation analyst at URS Corporation and Cambridge Systematics, with a brief stint at UBS Investment Bank.[1] After returning to India, he joined Zomato, where he headed international operations.[3] In 2013, he co-founded Grofers with Saurabh Kumar as a hyperlocal delivery platform.[1] In 2021, Grofers rebranded as Blinkit and pivoted to 10-minute quick commerce; Zomato acquired Blinkit in 2022.[3] On 1 February 2026, he became Group CEO of Eternal Ltd, the parent company of Zomato and Blinkit, succeeding Deepinder Goyal.[1]

Personal life

Dhindsa is married to Akriti Chopra, a former chief people officer at Zomato.[1]

He founded Grofers in 2013, pivoted to Blinkit, and became Eternal Group CEO.[4][5]
