Anshu Bisht, known online as GamerFleet, is an Indian gaming YouTuber from Haldwani, Uttarakhand, best known for his Minecraft gameplay videos and live streams.[1]
Early life and education
Bisht grew up in Haldwani, a town in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand.[2]
He has said his biggest early hurdle was explaining to his parents what he wanted to do and how gaming could ever become a career.[3]
Career
Minecraft and rapid growth
Bisht built his channel on Minecraft: let's-plays, SMP multiplayer series and comedy gaming content delivered in Hindi, with running jokes, dramatic builds and genuine reactions that turned a sandbox game into appointment viewing.[4]
Along the way he collaborated with some of India's biggest creators, playing Minecraft with CarryMinati on stream and teaming up with Mythpat, Tanmay Bhat, Samay Raina, Triggered Insaan and Techno Gamerz.[5]
Expanding beyond Minecraft
As his audience grew, Bisht began branching into other titles, including Fall Guys and Battlegrounds Mobile India, which he tried during its beta and praised as being made with the Indian audience in mind.[6]
He has also spoken about the rise of women in Indian gaming, saying he is glad the industry is discussing and recognising female gamers and their growing presence as professionals.[7]
He has also used his platform to push for a more inclusive gaming scene, arguing that recognising women gamers as professionals benefits the entire industry.[8]
Phone theft in San Francisco
In September 2026 Bisht made headlines off YouTube when his phone was stolen while he was travelling in San Francisco.[9]
He had briefly left his table at a Burger King outlet to collect his order when a man picked up the phone and fled on a scooter, an act caught on the restaurant's security camera.[10]
Rather than confront the suspect himself, Bisht tracked the phone with another device, called 911 and shared the live location; officers from the Colma Police Department arrived within minutes, detained the suspect and recovered the device.[11]
The clip drew a strong reaction online, with viewers praising the speed of the police response and contrasting it with their own experiences back home.[12]
From struggling to explain gaming as a career to his parents to collaborating with India's biggest creators, Bisht's rise mirrors the rise of Indian gaming itself.[13]
With Minecraft still central to his channel after years of creating content, he remains one of the creators a generation of young Indian gamers grew up watching.[14]
